WE HAVE A LIMITED NUMBER OF DATES AVAILABLE IN 2012 FOR ORGANIZATIONS LOOKING TO UPSCALE THEIR OUTING. SO, IF YOU'RE TIRED OF THE "FACTORY OUTING SITES" WHY NOT SELECT A LOCATION THAT PROMISES TO HAVE YOUR GUESTS THANKING YOU FOR SUCH A TERRIFIC GOLFING AND DINING EXPERIENCE.

Although a private club, Sunset makes our golf course available to select charitable, social, school, fraternal and related organizations for golf events on Mondays during the season.

Founded in 1910, Sunset's course is routinely listed among the most challenging and beautiful layouts in the region. Designed by the Foulis brothers, who brought their game to St. Louis direct from their home at St. Andrews, Scotland, they learned to play the game, and to design their courses, under the wing of legendary Old Tom Morris. With a routing that is essentially the same since originally designed, the shot values brought to Sunset by the Foulis brothers recreated, with their designer's eye, the values they played at the great Old Course at St. Andrews.

In 1989, the course was updated by the renowned international golf architect Dr. Michael Hurdzan, to update the greens and bunkers to modern standards. In addition, in 2008 the club further upgraded the greens, seeding the new A1/A4 bent grass, making them among the newest and best greens in the area. In recent years, the USGA Turf Advisory has consistently rated our zoysia fairways as the best in town!

Guidelines for Monday Golf Events:

Minimum of 100 golfers
There is a minimum of $20 per golfer to be spent with the golf shop on gift certificates, prizes or tee gifts.
There is a Club opening fee
