Our new zero-entry heated pool, opened in 2011, boasts a family-friendly atmosphere.  With water fountains and kid-safe areas, the new pool is a relaxing spot to enjoy the day, or a wonderful place to host friends and family.

The pavilion, which houses the tennis shop, a full kitchen, restrooms, showers and an indoor eating and play area, makes it ideal for parties or family gatherings.  Adjacent to the tennis courts and golf practice area, this has become the gathering spot for fun-filled family activities at Sunset.  The pavilion also serves golfers at the range or coming from the ninth hole after completing their front nine.

The pool area features a wide deck area, suitable for sunbathing, relaxing or discussions with friends.  The pool has two areas; a kid-safe zero-entry area where children can enter the pool and wade into the water at a level where they feel comfortable.  Fountains and sprays surround this area, making it more of an aquatic park for the youngsters.  The deep end of the pool features two one-meter boards for diving.  Certified Lifeguards are on constant vigil to ensure the safety of everyone in and out of the pool.  The east end of the pool has a wide area with tables for eating, drinking or casual conversation.

Membership at Sunset enables the children of members to participate in the Country Club Swim League.  The swim team at Sunset teaches children the various strokes, giving them more confidence when in the pool.  Once children are water-safe, they may compete on the team.  There is also a dive team, geared those those learning the sport as well as those looking for competition.

In addition, under the direction of our pool manager, the swim team takes advantage of local high school pools beginning in January; providing them with the opportunity to prepare of the upcoming season and improving their skills.
