Whether you’re coming off the golf course after a great round, or entertaining friends and/or business clients, Sunset Country Club aims to make your dining experience unforgettable.
 
Our main dining areas, with panoramic views of the golf course, offer members and guests a formal, yet casual setting to satisfy all of your desires. If you just want a quick burger after golf, or would like to enjoy an exquisite meal prepared by our award winning chef, Anthony Lyons, CEC, Sunset will fulfill your needs for every occasion.

For that casual or special occasion, Sunset offers five different venues for dining, the Fairway Lounge, the Sunset Room, the Men’s Card Room, the Lady’s Lounge and the panoramic Sunset Patio.  All of our dining venues are complimented by our new wine cellar which boasts over 400 new and old world wines.

The Fairway lounge is a casual dining area which has a wonderful view of our number one tee.  It provides a wonderful atmosphere to have family and friends out for a relaxing dining experience.  If you are just interested in a quick cocktail following a round of golf, the Fairway Lounge has a fully stocked bar surrounded by comfortable leather high back chairs.

The Sunset Room is our formal dining room overlooking the golf course.  This room steps out onto our Patio, should you choose to enjoy a glass of wine under the stars following your dining experience.  This room provides a wonderful atmosphere to entertain guests and celebrate special occasions.  A large wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the room, creating a warm and cozy dining experience during the winter months.

The Card Room is the centerpiece of the Men’s Locker Room.  It provides a great atmosphere to enjoy lunch and dinner as well as post-golf camaraderie.  The Men’s Card Room overlooks the Swimming Pool and has a wonderful view of the tenth fairway.  If you are popping in for a quick lunch during the week or coming out to watch the big game on one of our big screens, the Men’s Card Room can cater to your every need.  It has one of the best stocked bars in town and offers a wide selection of fine cigars.

Located in the Women’s Locker Room is the Lady’s Lounge.  The Lady’s Lounge overlooks the north courtyard adjacent to the Men’s Locker Room.  The Lady’s Lounge offers a relaxing environment to enjoy lunch following golf on any day.  It also boasts the perfect environment for bridge playing.

The Sunset Patio provides hands-down the best dining view in the St. Louis area.  The Patio provides a panoramic view of the entire Meramec Valley.  This is the part of the club that makes Sunset Country Club so special.  It was the view from the patio that prompted August A. Busch to build what became known as one of the finest country clubs in the United States.  The patio provides a great atmosphere for any occasion and is the most popular dining location Sunset has to offer.
