To accommodate the above functions as well as many more, Sunset has a variety of settings throughout our wonderful club. With an experienced staff, Sunset can cater an event just about anywhere, but here is a list of our more popular settings:
The Grand Ballroom:
The grand ballroom encompasses over 4,000 square feet and has six large crystal chandeliers making this room an elegant setting that can comfortably seat up to 266 people with a large dance floor and room for a band. It is adjacent to the Fogertey reception hall which provides an additional 1,500 square-feet of space suitable for pre-event cocktail and reception needs. These areas are perfect for gala weddings and other large events. The separate club entrance allows your function to be elegant, special and private. The Ballroom can accommodate many more people with theater style seating arrangements used for large presentations.
Sunset Dining Room:
This 1,350 square-foot room has a large gas fireplace and a wall of windows overlooking the main patio and putting green. This room accommodates up to 60 people and is great for small banquets or larger dinner parties. Depending on the number of guests a small dance floor also fits well in the alcove of the room. The room takes its name from the panoramic sunset views beyond the tree lined horizon.
Library:
This room offers side patio and driving range views. Small six to ten people meetings and dining can be set in this cozy den-like atmosphere.
Board Room:
This room has a large window and can accommodate between 40 to 50 people for meetings or private dining. In season the wood burning fireplace gives this room a more casual look when accommodating private parties.
Carleton Rooms “C” and “D”:
These two interior rooms allow privacy and without any outside distractions they are popular for training classes and other functions when complete attention is needed from your guests. Room “C” is 509 square-feet and seats 20 while Room “D” is 625 square-feet and can accommodate approximately 40 people. Many people reserve one room for meetings and the adjoining room for breakfast, lunch, or dinner for those day-long events. These meeting rooms are also nice for small private dinner parties.
Eagles Nest Meeting Room:
This upper level meeting room offers privacy from the rest of the club and has windows that overlook the ninth green and the first tee box. Conference style meetings are mostly accommodated in this area with seating up to 20. Very limited food and beverage service is offered in this room because of the steps.
Living Room:
This expansive and desirable sitting area overlooks the patio, first hole, ninth green, and driving range. Some of the most dramatic views can be seen while sitting on a couch relaxing and enjoying a drink with friends. The large marble wood burning fireplace and walk in wine cellar are only outshined by the breathtaking views this room affords, especially at sunset. Private events are allowed in this area.
