"Serving our members in a refined, elegant environment"
...Adolphus Busch - 1910
This was the objective when Adolphus Busch founded Sunset in 1910 as a dinner club to serve his Anheuser-Busch products. While the times have changed, the essential message has not; we continue to serve our members in a refined environment that has adapted to today's casual, family-friendly lifestyle.
The environment at Sunset is about making each member visit as enjoyable as possible. This is accomplished by a professional staff's focused attention to detail to deliver the traditions that have always been a part of the Sunset experience while staying current with the needs of a multigenerational membership.
Whether it's a Men's, Women's, Couples, Juniors, or a casual round with friends, our goal is to make your round on the course - and your post-round activities - as enjoyable as possible. Our challenging, 18-hole course is set with a number of teeing grounds on each hole, allowing members to select the distance that is right for their game. We also have recognized the need for Junior tee markers and scorecards which are available for our youngest members to enjoy the course. If you have a son or daughter who enjoys golf, check-out our Junior Golf program! Lead Instructor Ryan Martin was recognized in 2015 as Junior Golf Leader of the Year by the Gateway PGA Section.
Our members continue to share with us their dining preferences, whether in a casual setting or during one of the Club's many group functions. Our culinary team headed by award-winning Executive Chef, Rod Laurentius excels at meeting member expectation for service, quality and consistency.
Over the past six years, Sunset's membership has made substantial investments in their golf course, the Aquatic Center, the golf practice facility and the tennis complex.
