Sunset is proud of our caddy tradition. Our members actively support the Evans Scholar program, which is part of the Western Golf Association, and commemorates those young men and women who continue their education under this program.
Caddying at Sunset
Each year, between 50-75 young men and women enroll for the Caddy Program at Sunset. Beginning in February with orientation meetings and signups, followed by educational sessions and on-course training, Sunset's caddies continue the traditions begun at the Club over a century ago.
Enrollment for Sunset's 2019 caddy class is now open. Our first informational meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 20 at 5:00pm in Sunset's Main Ballroom. During the meeting we will go through registration, training dates, the training process, and the job itself. There is no need to register for the meeting.
